Thomas Brömel

Connecting strategy, technology, and the people who use the product.

I'm a product leader with 10+ years building and scaling B2B platforms, data products, and SaaS tools. My background bridges business thinking, technical depth, and genuine user focus — which means I can work effectively with engineers, executives, and customers without things getting lost in translation.

I've led product teams through growth, complexity, and uncertainty — defining strategy, setting priorities, and ensuring delivery. I care about outcomes over output: shipping the right things, not just shipping things.

Currently exploring the next chapter — whether that's a senior product leadership role or applying what I know to help companies make better decisions around AI and product strategy.

A track record of building products that matter.

From founding-stage to scale-up, I've led product teams and delivered outcomes across data platforms, mobility, retail technology, and esports.

Building things on the side.

Alongside my professional work, I build products that solve real problems — because hands-on product work is the best way to stay sharp.

Helping teams make better product and AI decisions.

I work with a small number of teams and founders who need a senior outside perspective on product strategy, AI adoption, or how to move faster without building the wrong things.

AI Product Strategy

Identifying where AI actually creates value in your product or workflow — not where it sounds impressive. Defining use cases, assessing feasibility, and building a realistic roadmap for AI integration.

Product Discovery & MVP Definition

Helping you understand what problem you're actually solving, who you're solving it for, and what the smallest version looks like that you can learn from.

Product Strategy & Roadmaps

Translating business goals into a product direction your team can execute on. Prioritization frameworks, roadmap communication, and stakeholder alignment.

Sparring & Advisory

A thinking partner for founders, product leaders, and executives working through hard product or strategy decisions. No slides. Just structured, direct conversations that move things forward.

Works well for:

Startups defining their first product SMEs exploring AI adoption Product teams needing outside input Founders building 0→1 Leadership navigating product complexity

What I bring to the table.

AI Strategy & Applied AI

Identifying meaningful AI use cases, assessing technical feasibility, and building the product and data foundations that make AI actually work.

Product Leadership

Building and developing product teams, setting direction, and creating the conditions for high-quality product work at scale.

Product Discovery

Understanding the real problem before defining the solution. Combining user research, business context, and technical constraints into a clear direction.

Business Model Thinking

Connecting product decisions to business outcomes — revenue, retention, efficiency — rather than treating them as isolated feature work.

Technical Collaboration

Deep enough technical understanding to have credible conversations with engineers, make informed trade-offs, and earn trust through fluency — not authority.

Execution & Delivery

Getting things shipped. Cutting through ambiguity, aligning cross-functional teams, and maintaining momentum without losing sight of the goal.

Let's talk about product, AI, or the next role.
